The Municipality of Kleinovos is located in the north-west part of Trikala Prefecture and consists of six municipal compartments (the communities that were merged under the 2539/97
law).
The population totals 2.363 citizens and the whole area covers 180.728 thousands square
metres.
The Municipality of Kleinovos is a mainly agricultural and cattle-breeding area. The main products are dairy products (feta cheese, telemes, cream cheese), meat, honey, vegetables, apples, preserved fruit as well as oregano and tea, which exist in
ambundance.
The six municipal compartments that constitute the Municipality of Kleinovos are: Kleinos, Idona, Glykomilia, Kalogriani, Palaiochori, Chrysomilia. There is much more to find out about these municipal compartments in our link
